We finally arrived home, which I know is not saying much for those of you still on the road! I so appreciate EVERYONE making the trip and joining us this year. It was GREAT fun. I enjoyed meeting all the new guests and seeing my new friends from last year. Now it’s time for a little R&R and de-compressing!

How SWEET Karen. It was so nice opening my computer and seeing this comment! Everyone seems to have a good time and that is what is most important to me ~ I do hope there is great interest in doing it again next year, if enough people say they will attend we will continue to make them happen!

Abbie, as I told you, the meeting improved over last year, and I was impressed then! What a great job you do with the door prizes, goodie bags, lunch plans, hotel reservations, room setup, programs, agendas, and on and on….
I didn’t get a chance to see Bonnie, but I thought she did a great job. I’m sure the emceeing helped you to have more time for other things that came up throughout the day.

I told Sharon when she did her followup call today that we wanted to put a hold on the room for the 17th of July next year, which would be a Saturday.
For sure we will do it if there is the interest we are all about making it happen.
Bonnie is the best. She did a great job and volunteered to do it over a year ago. I know many asked her to do a gemstone demo again, they missed seeing her in action.
Leslie – you get that date marked down for your work! I want to make sure you are there.

To Abbie and everyone invloved to help make this such a great event~ Kudos! You guys did a wonderful job! I had such a great time meeting everyone for the first time and thank you so much for inviting me to be a conference presenter, it was a pleasure to share with you all~ Also the generous contributions from all those companies for the goody bags, door prizes ect was amazing! The car still smells awesome from all the wonderful scents!

I just got home late last night, still tired from the trip but my mind is running overtime wanting to get started implementing all the great ideas I learned over the weekend. The gathering was so informative and all the presenters did a marvelous job. Abbie, what can I say that hasn’t already been said???? You completely outdid yourself (and Derrick too) on all the work you put into making the weekend so special for all of us. As everyone else has mentioned, the goodie bags, the door prizes, the accomodations, the selection of your speakers, all of it took a great deal of time and I for one appreciate it so very very much. It was great to meet you and all the others, and you are such a sweetheart. Of course I’ve known that through our correspondences online. Please keep the gathering coming…..may I be the first to register for next year??????? I’ll do it now!!!!!
For all the other I met, and hung out with, you’re all fantastic people and it’s great to have our love for creativity in common. Kimbery & Tabitha, I look forward to hearing your talents in the lounge again next year. Lori, you were a great roomie & thank you for your information on the subjects we discussed about product & such. My buds, Birdie & Angela, it was great to be able to spend time with the two of you again, and I will definately see you at your Social in May and again in July at the Gathering. Who knows, we just may find another convention of sorts to meet up at between now and then. Julie, you’re a hoot and I’m so anxious to get into my soaps as soon as I get off the computer. The candles will have to wait a couple days but I’m going to try to master something similar to your masterpieces. Kim, your smelly jellys have already been opened and sitting in my bathrooms this morning. They smell wonderful. Abbie, did you do the jar with the lavender & tea lights? I had that baby open in my car from the time I left the gathering til I unpacked this morning, and it smells wonderful in there. To Shannon, it was great to finally meet you. Your swap item was wayyyyy too cute and what a great idea. It sounds like your business is really taking off for you and I was thrilled to hear it. Tabitha I hope you’re feeling better….I felt so sorry for you being in so much pain. I can’t list everyone on here that I met and hung out with but you all know who you are and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to network with all of you wonderfully talented women. I hope you all come back next year so I can pick your brain again!!!!! LOL
Abbie, once again……..I’ll be there so you’d better make sure we have another gathering or I’ll be there all alone….LOL Everyone, rest up and get back to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, I don’t want to forget Dawn & Mike and all the work they did to help things move as smooth as they did. Dawn you’re a real sweetheart, and you did a great job.

This was my first soapmaking conference, and wow, what a wonderful experience. I was on a high from it all weekend. Going thru all the goodies, catalogs, and info I received after I got home was better than Christmas! I appreciate all the hard work that went into organizing this. Thank you Abbie, Kimberly, and everyone else who made this great event possible. I am already looking forward to next year and will definitely mark my calender.

Thank you Naomi – I still remember my first conference – I was infused with energy to try stuff. I loved all the goodies too. You know I did not even pack the goodie bags, Dawn did it – so I could have the fun of checking it out when I got home and I had a blast. Now if I could just find the little jars of Kim’s lotion. I loved it. Hey let me know how the shampoo bars come out, they look complicated, but they are not so hard at all. My hair needs one badly after having my hair done on Friday, it’s a wreck without them!
It was so nice to meet you – you are almost local for me! Next year for sure plan to be there.

Thanks to all the wonderful ladies that took part in my craft show networking session-it’s nice to bounce ideas around with others ,you’ve inspired me to get out there and kick butt once again and I hope you all do the same at those shows.
I am very hopeful that things (economy) will turn around for the better come this time next year.

Thanks so much for inviting us. This was the first time Lori has been to an event like this and I expect she will want to come with me next year. She’s got the lotion bug now and is in the back making a batch of the lemon lotion for herself.
